Eco-Carbone's team



Eco-Carbone's team combines years of experience in industry, agronomy, project finance and environmental management. We are internationally represented through offices in Paris and Beijing, and work closely with both international and local experts in order to address the needs of individual projects. Our network of experts covers agronomy, biomass energy, coalmine methane, energy efficiency, carbon sequestration and other technical areas.

Olivier Kreiss, President

Olivier Kreiss has been a leading manager in French and international industry for over 35 years. Before heading Eco-Carbone, he was Vice-President of International Concessions at Vinci, and CEO and President of Degremont, the world leader in water treatment. He has been President of Eco-Carbone since 2003.


Francois Falloux, Vice-President

Francois Falloux is trained as an agronomist and has long-standing experience in development work and carbon finance. He spent 25 years as an environmental and development specialist at the World Bank and was instrumental in establishing the carbon finance business unit at the Bank. Mr. Falloux currently holds the position of Chairman of the Investors Committee at the World Bank Bio Carbon Fund, which invests in carbon sequestration projects worldwide. He is one of Eco-Carbone's founders and has been Vice-President since 2001.

Daniel Kreiss, Director

Daniel Kreiss is in charge of developing Eco-Carbone's activities in France & Europe. Before joining Eco-carbone, he worked as consultant, then manager for IBM Global Services.

 

François Giraudy, Manager for Africa

François Giraudy is an experienced agronomist who has spent all his carreer working in development and agro-industrial sector in different African countries. He is in charge of Éco-Carbone’s African projects


Tan Wenkui, Head of Chinese Activities

Tan Wenkui represents and manages Eco-Carbone's project activities in China. Now based in Beijing, he began his career in the Chinese diplomatic service, and later represented Chinese commercial interests in France as CEO of a state-owned agro-business enterprise. Before joining Eco-Carbone, he worked as an independent advisor to French and international companies establishing business in China.

Lys Nguyen, Executive Manager for Vietnamese projects

Lys Nguyen develops and manages Eco-Carbone’s activities in Vietnam. She has long-standing experience in the development of industrial projects and joint ventures between French and Vietnamese companies.

 

Antonio Claudio Lisboa Horta Barbosa, Director of Eco-Carbone do Brazil

Tony Horta represents and manages Eco-Carbone's activities in Brazil. He is a trained agronomist with a post graduate degree in agri-business and environment engineering. Mr Horta has a long experience in agriculture, agro-forestry and enviornment conservation projects in different Sout American and African countries.
 

Anne-Claire Degail, Agronomist and R&D Coordinator

A trained agro-economist, Anne-Claire Degail has worked in different agriculture and livestock development programs in Bhutan and in Vietnam. She is in charge of agronomic research and development of Eco-Carbone's Jatropha program.
 

Bulle Pouzoulet, Project Manager

Bulle Pouzoulet is trained in agronomy and environmental management. She manages Eco-Carbone's projects in Africa, in particular its reforestation and biodiesel activities.
 

Julien Chantry, Project Manager

Graduated in International Management, Julien Chantry has several experiences in finance as well as marketing abroad. He is responsible for the follow up and development of Eco-Carbone's activities in Asia.


 

Thomas Bouzanquet, Project Manager

Thomas Bouzanquet has an industrial engineering background and has worked in various energy projects. He is in charge of the coalmines offset programs.



Pierre-Yves Simond, Accounting and Administration

Pierre-Yves Simond is a trained accountant and manages Eco-Carbone's administration at the Paris office.
